ABOUT
Dr. Davisson is a Professor of Medicine at West Virginia University School of Medicine with over 20 years of experience.  Dr. Davisson saw the contribution of obesity in many chronic medical conditions she treated in internal medicine. This experience, along with her interest in public health and prevention, led her to obtain additional training in Obesity Medicine. She founded and directs an outpatient medical weight management practice which provides team-based, patient centered treatment of obesity. Dr. Davisson is active in medical education for students, residents, and fellows. Dr. Davisson enjoys participating in outreach activities, such as speaking and writing on various health topics and advocating for the prevention and treatment of obesity.
